Ignition Coil: Service and Repair
Inspection 1.
Measure the primary coil resistance between terminals (+) and (-).
Standard value:0.75Ohms ± 15%Replacement 1.
Remove the engine cover.
2.
Remove the
ignition coil with bolt.
Tightening torque : 7.8 - 9.8N.m (0.8 - 1.0kgf.m, 5.8 - 7.2lb-ft) NOTE: When removing the
ignition coil connector, pull the lock pin(A) and push the clip(B).
3.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
