Description:
This bulletin describes the procedure of replacing the BCM, SMK, PDM, and reprogramming of the BCM to provide Blue Link remote start capability for 2012MY Sonatas produced from Start of Production through 9/27/2011.
IMPORTANT
This Kit Computer Module replacement is ONLY for customers with an ACTIVE Essentials Blue Link Package.
IMPORTANT
Due to the replacement of the SMK module, the smart keys must be reprogrammed. Request the customer to bring in both the master and spare keys before starting this operation.
