Removal/Installation

1. Relieve fuel system pressure, refer to MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE.
2. Remove engine undercover and hood.
3. Disconnect or remove all hoses, linkages, electrical connectors and accessories necessary for engine removal.
4. Remove radiator shroud and cooling fan.
5. Remove drive belts.
6. Remove power steering pump and A/C compressor.
7. Remove front exhaust tube.
8. Attach suitable lifting equipment to engine, then lift engine and transmission.
9. Remove engine mounting bolts from both sides.
10. Remove engine from vehicle.
11. Reverse procedure to install.
