Fig. 202 Air Flow Meter Terminal Identification:

1. Fold back air flow meter harness connector insulating rubber, if necessary.
2. Start and run engine until normal operating temperature is reached.
3. Check voltage between terminal B and ground, Fig. 202.
4. Voltage should be as follows:
a. With ignition switch On (engine stopped), less than .5 volt.
b. With engine at idle, 1.0-1.3 volts.
5. If voltage is not as specified, remove air flow meter from air duct. Check hot wire for damage or dust.
