Component Inspection
EGR Temperature Sensor Inspection:
Immerse sensor in water at specified temperatures and check resistance with an ohm meter.
Resistance should be approximately 85 ohms at 100° C (212° F).
Resitance should decrease as temperature increases.
Replace the sensor if it fails the above test.
