SERVICE INFORMATION

Keyless remote transmission distances will decrease when transmitter battery voltage is low. The low voltage is usually associated with daily usage of the remote transmitter or normal battery life. Before troubleshooting the keyless system for poor/improper operation, ensure that a new battery is installed in the incident remote and retested.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Remove and replace the transmitter battery with one of the following replacement batteries and retest remote performance. The battery is a 3.0 VDC lithium cell.
