Refrigerant Oil Addition

Oil used to lubricate the compressor circulates through the system with the refrigerant. Whenever any component of the system is replaced or a large amount of gas leakage occurs, add oil to the compressor to maintain the specified amount.
1. If installing new compressor, refer to Fig. 7, for amount of oil to be drained from new compressor.
2. If install new condenser, evaporator or receiver/dryer, refer to Fig. 8, for amount of oil to add to system.
