Ignition Control Module: Testing and Inspection

Power Transistor Test:

Power Transistor Test Results Table:

1. Disconnect camshaft position sensor & power transistor harness connector and ignition coil harness connector.
2. Check power transistor continuity between terminals with a digital tester as shown in the figure.
^ The digital tester must have a diode check position and be able to measure up to 20M Ohms to perform this inspection.
3. If NG, replace distributor assembly.
