Knock Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Detonation (knock) Sensor Testing:
1.
Disconnect the
knock sensor sub-harness connector.
2.
Using an ohmmeter (which can measure more than
10M Ohms), check for continuity between the A and ground as shown.
3.
Replace the sensor if does not have continuity.
CAUTION: Replace the sensor if it has undergone shocks or has been dropped.
