Cylinder headIf cylinder head bolts are re-used, check their outer diameters before installation. Whenever the size difference between (B) and (A) exceeds the limit, replace them with new one
Limit [(B) - (A)] 0.18 mm (0.0071 in)
Tighten all cylinder head bolts.
Tightening Torque 40 Nm (4.1 kg-m, 30 ft-lb)
Tighten all cylinder head bolts (clockwise).
Angle tightening 75 degrees
Completely loosen all cylinder head bolts in the reverse order.
Tightening Torque 0 Nm (0 kg-m, 0 ft-lb)
Tighten all cylinder head bolts.
Tightening Torque 40.0 Nm (4.1 kg-m, 30 ft-lb)
Tighten all cylinder head bolts (clockwise).
Angle tightening 65 degrees
Tighten all cylinder head bolts again (clockwise).
Angle tightening 65 degrees
Intake manifold 11.0 Nm (1.1 kgm, 8 ft lbs)
Camshaft
Tighten bolts in numerical order as shown.
Tightening Torque 1.96 Nm (0.20 kg-m, 1 ft-lb)
Tighten bolts in numerical order as shown.
Tightening Torque 5.88 Nm (0.60 kg-m, 4 ft-lb)
Tighten bolts in numerical order as shown.
Tightening Torque 10.4 Nm (1.1 kg-m, 8 ft-lb)
Camshaft sprocket 103 Nm (11 kgm, 76 ft lbs)
Exhaust manifold 28.0 Nm (2.9 kgm, 21 ft lbs)
Tighten mounting nuts No. 1 to 4 in two steps. The numerical order
No. 9 to 12 shown second steps.
