CYLINDER HEAD BOLTS

If cylinder head bolts are reused, check their outer diameters before installation. Refer to Inspection





Tighten all cylinder head bolts.
Tightening Torque 105 Nm (11 kg-m, 77 ft-lb)

Completely loosen all cylinder head bolts.
Tightening Torque 0 Nm (0 kg-m, 0 ft-lb)

Tighten all cylinder head bolts.
Tightening Torque 40.0 Nm (4.1 kg-m, 30 ft-lb)

Turn all cylinder head bolts
Angle tightening 95 degrees clockwise

Turn all cylinder head bolts
Angle tightening 95 degrees clockwise again

INTAKE MANIFOLD

1st step 7.4 Nm (0.75 kg-m, 5 ft-lb)
2nd step and after 25.5 Nm (2.6 kg-m, 19 ft-lb)





INTAKE COLLECTOR

Tightening Torque 10.8 Nm (1.1 kg-m, 8 ft-lb)





Camshaft bearing cap

Tighten bolts in numerical order as shown in the figure.
Tightening Torque 1.96 Nm (0.20 kg-m, 1 ft-lb)

Tighten bolts in numerical order as shown in the figure.
Tightening Torque 5.88 Nm (0.60 kg-m, 4 ft-lb)

Tighten bolts in numerical order as shown in the figure.
Tightening Torque 10.4 Nm (1.1 kg-m, 8 ft-lb)





Camshaft sprocket 103 Nm (11 kgm, 76 ft lbs)

Exhaust Manifold 30.5 Nm (0.59, 51 ft lbs)





NOTE:
Tighten nuts No. 1 and 2 in two steps. The numerical order No. 7 and 8 shows the second step.
