2011-2012 M56; MIL "ON" WITH DTC P0300 STORED

This bulletin has been amended. The Applied Vehicles section and Table A have been revised, and the information under "If reprogramming does not complete and the "!?" or the "X" icon displays and shown in Figure 5 and 6" has been added. No other changes have been made. Please discard all previous copies.

APPLIED VEHICLES: 2011-2012 M56 (Y51)

IF YOU CONFIRM

The MIL is "ON" with DTC P0300 (MULTI CYL MISFIRE) stored in the ECM.

AND

There are no drivability issues.

ACTION

1. Refer to step 6 in the SERVICE PROCEDURE to confirm this bulletin applies to the vehicle you are working on.

2. If this bulletin applies reprogram the ECM.
