AUTOMATIC BACK DOOR OPERATION DOES NOT OPERATE

OPEN/CLOSURE FUNCTION : Diagnosis Procedure


1. CONFIRM THE OPERATION

1.Turn ON automatic back door main switch.
2.Confirm the operation.
Is the result normal?
YES- Automatic back door system is normal.
NO- GO TO 2.

2. CHECK DTC WITH AUTOMATIC BACK DOOR CONTROL UNIT

Check that DTC is not detected with automatic back door control unit.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 3.
NO- Perform trouble diagnosis relevant to DTC indicated.

3. CHECK AUTOMATIC BACK DOOR MAIN SWITCH

Check automatic back door main switch.
Automatic Back Door Main Switch.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 4.
NO- Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

4. CHECK BACK DOOR OPENER SWITCH

Check back door opener switch.
Back Door Opener Switch.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 5.
NO- Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

5. CHECK BACK DOOR CLOSURE MOTOR

Check back door closure motor.
Component Tests and General Diagnostics.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 6.
NO- Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

6. REPLACE AUTOMATIC BACK DOOR CONTROL UNIT

1.Replace automatic back door control unit. Service and Repair.
2.Confirm the operation after replacement.
Is the result normal?
YES- INSPECTION END
NO- Check intermittent incident. Intermittent Incident.
