Work Procedure (Inspection Mode 3)


INSPECTION MODE 3


1. CHANGING TO INSPECTION MODE

With CONSULT
1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Select "INSPECTION MODE 3" in "ACTIVE TEST" mode of "EV/HEV".
3.Touch "ON".
4.The system changes to inspection mode 3, and both the hybrid system warning lamp and the 12-volt battery charge warning lamp on the combination meter blinks.
5.Set the vehicle to READY.
Without CONSULT
1.Perform the following steps within 60 seconds.
-Turn ignition switch ON with the selector lever at the P position.
-Fully depress the accelerator pedal, then fully release it 4 times.
-While depressing the brake pedal, shift the select lever to the N position.
-Fully depress the accelerator pedal, then fully release it 4 times.
-While depressing the brake pedal, shift the select lever to the P position.
-Fully depress the accelerator pedal, then fully release it 4 times.
2.The system changes to inspection mode 3, and both the hybrid system warning lamp and the 12-volt battery charge warning lamp on the combination meter blinks.
3.Set the vehicle to READY.

Inspection mode 3 is canceled when the ignition switch turns OFF.
