COMBINATION SWITCH INPUT CIRCUIT

Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to "Wiring Diagram" Electrical Diagrams.

1. CHECK INPUT 1 - 5 SYSTEM CIRCUIT FOR OPEN

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect BCM connector M19 and combination switch connector.
3.Check continuity between BCM connector M19 and combination switch connector.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 2.
NO- Repair or replace harness or connectors.

2. CHECK INPUT 1 - 5 SYSTEM CIRCUIT FOR SHORT

Check continuity between BCM connector M19 and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 3.
NO- Repair or replace harness or connectors.

3. CHECK BCM OUTPUT VOLTAGE

1.Connect BCM connector M19 and combination switch connector.
2.Turn ignition switch ON.
3.Check voltage between BCM connector M19 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Replace the combination switch. Refer to "Removal and Installation" BCM.
NO- Replace BCM. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Service and Repair.
