BCM

Removal and Installation


CAUTION:
Before replacing the BCM, perform "READ CONFIGURATION" to save or print current vehicle specification. Refer to "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING CONTROL UNIT (BCM) : Description" Description.

REMOVAL

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2.Remove the combination meter. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Service and Repair.
3.Remove the BCM bolts.
4.Disconnect the harness connectors from the BCM.





5.Remove the BCM (1).

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
- Be sure to perform "WRITE CONFIGURATION" when replacing BCM.
- Be sure to perform the system initialization (NATS)(if equipped) when replacing BCM. Refer to BCS61, "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING CONTROL UNIT (BCM) : Work Procedure".
