Electronic Component Replacement

When working with electronic components observe the following precautions:

1. Before servicing electronic components, disconnect the battery ground.

NOTE: Before removing battery ground, access fault codes, and record radio presets. control module, and radio memory will be erased when ground cable is removed.

2. Fuel and Engine Control System wiring should be at least 4 inches away from ignition wires.
