Vacuum Control Valve

The vacuum control valve converts electrical signals from ECM into vacuum signals through the vacuum control solenoid. These vacuum signals trigger the fuel control actuators in the carburetor which control the air/fuel ratio.
This valve consists of a vacuum regulator which regulates fluctuating vacuum from intake manifold to a constant specified vacuum, and a vacuum control solenoid which controls vacuum level from vacuum regulator by signals from ECM.
