Low to High Altitude--W/Manual Trans

Fig. 36 High altitude emission control system:

1. Stop engine and apply parking brake.
2. Disconnect rubber hose from air switching valve located in front left side of engine.
3. Connect delay valve to above disconnected hose and valve, Fig. 36. Ensure that rubber hose on mark ``A'' side of delay valve is connected to 3-way connector, and rubber hose on the mark ``B'' to air switching valve.
4. Adjust engine speed to specification.
5. Check timing.
6. Attach label.
