ADJUSTMENT OF AIR CONDITIONING CONTROLLER

SERVICE INFORMATION
Under certain ambient temperature conditions, when the sliding temperature control lever is moved slightly upward from its full lower position, a flow of warm air may be felt from the face level vents. To correct this condition, readjustment of the Air Conditioning controller is required. (Refer to illustration on reverse side.)
Fig. 1 Remove the glove box door by opening it and then pulling
forward on the two side stays to allow the door to drop down.
Fig. 2 Remove the glove box inner panel, it is held in place
with six (6) sheet metal screws.
Fig. 3 Remove the air conditioning controller by pushing down
the top and pulling out on the bottom.
Fig. 4 Readjust the controller by removing the rubber dust cap
and gently turning tile adjustment screw counter clockwise 45~.
Fig. 5 Reinstall dust cap and controller, glove box inner panel,
and glove box door.
NOTE: All replacement controllers have been readjusted at the factory and are indicated by a blue 10mm dot on the face of the controller.
