Shift Light: Testing and Inspection

1. Check function of transaxle switch by moving the gearshift lever with ohmmeter connected to switch terminals.
2. The 1st-2nd switch is satisfactory if it closes when shifted into 1st or 2nd gear position.
3. The 3rd-4th switch is satisfactory if it closes when shifted into 3rd and 4th gear position.
4. If the switch does not close as specified, replace switch as required.
