Positive Crankcase Ventilation: Service and Repair

Clean hoses and regulating orifice with compressed air. Check hoses for cracks, fatigue and swelling. Replace defective components as required.
NOTE: Large amounts of oil leaking from the engine can indicate a problem in the PCV system. If this condition exists, check the entire PCV system for blockages that would cause abnormally high crankcase pressures.
