Neutral Safety Switch: Adjustments
1.
Loosen screws securing
neutral safety switch, set the shift lever in Neutral position, then adjust the switch to bring the center of the moving piece into alignment with the line of the steel case of the switch indicating Neutral position. Tighten adjusting screws.
2.
Using an ohmmeter, check switch operation by making a continuity check with shift lever set in each position.
