1. Remove relay box cover, then disconnect crank angle sensor electrical connector.

2. Check voltage and resistance of crank angle sensor circuit as shown in Fig. 35 then compare with specifications in chart, Fig. 38
3. If measured voltage or resistance is not as specified in chart, repair or replace faulty wires. If measured voltage and resistance is as specified in chart, replace distributor assembly and repeat test.
