Canister Purge Control Valve: Testing and Inspection

1. Disconnect hose from common chamber and blow air into the hose. The hose should be free of restrictions and air should flow into canister.
2. Connect hose to common chamber, then start engine and allow to idle.
3. Disconnect evaporator valve hose from canister and check that vacuum is present at evaporator hose port and bottom port of canister.
