Valve Clearance: Adjustments

1. Remove cam cover.
2. Torque rocker arm shaft bracket nuts to 16 ft. lbs.
3. Position No. 1 piston at top dead center, compression stroke. In this position, adjust the following valves to specifications: No. 1 cylinder, intake and exhaust; No. 2 cylinder, intake; No. 3 cylinder, exhaust.
4. Rotate crankshaft 360 degrees and adjust the following valves: No. 2 cylinder, exhaust; No. 3 cylinder, intake; No. 4 cylinder, intake and exhaust.
5. Install cam cover.

Specifications (Cold):
Intake 0.15 mm (0.006 in)
Exhaust 0.25 mm (0.010 in)
