Diesel Governor Control Lever Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Connect voltmeter positive lead to Blue/Yellow wire terminal and negative lead to Blue/Red wire terminal without disconnecting sensor connector. Adjust control lever so that clearance between control lever and idle stopper bolt is approximately .276 inch, then start engine and observe voltmeter. Voltmeter should read 3.3-4.4 volts. If reading is not as specified, replace sensor.
