Coolant Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Testing and Inspection
Thermo Switch Testing:
Thermo Switch (With A/C)1.
Place sensor and a thermometer in ice water.
2.
Apply battery positive to terminal 1 and negative to terminal 4.
3.
Check continuity between terminals 2 and 4 as described on image chart.
4.
If not as specified, replace sensor.
