SERVICE INFORMATION

The 1988 Pickup (TF) uses an 8-cut key. Other Isuzu models will be converted to 8-cut keys in the future. The new 8-cut keys require a different coded key cutter than the cutter used for other Isuzu key blanks. Only a No. 15B-47~ cutter (with green casting) can be used for 8-cut keys. Key blanks which are not the 8-cut type must be cut with the 45~ cutter (with blue casting).
It is important that the appropriate key cutter and key blanks are used. A miscut key may stick in the ignition switch in the Start position, resulting in damage to the starter system.

Curtis Key Service Master Kit No. 20435 contains 8- cut coded key cuffer No. 15 B-47~ Dealers already equipped with the 8-cut key cutter may order Update Kit No. 20436, which contains all materials except a key cutter.
