[1] Check the automatic transmission fluid level at normal engine operating temperature, parking brake on, engine idling in neutral, vehicle on a level surface. With brakes applied, move the shift lever through all the gear ranges, ending in Park, before inspecting transmission fluid level.
[2] The transfer chain case fluid should be even with the bottom edge of the filler hole. The vehicle must be level when checking fluid level.
