Blower Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove instrument panel and compartment box.
3. Disconnect A/C pipes at evaporator assembly and the water hoses at heater assembly.
4. Remove evaporator assembly, then the blower unit.
5. Remove fresh air duct if not equipped with A/C.
6. Remove blower unit cover to case attaching bolts, then both cover halves with linings.
7. Remove motor assembly.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
