Mixture Control Valve System
Mixture Control Valve:
MIXTURE CONTROL VALVE TESTING1.
Disconnect the larger hose connecting the
mixture control valve with the intake manifold and plug the manifold side.
2.
Check that secondary air continues to blow out from the valve for a few seconds when the throttle is opened full and quickly released.
3.
If secondary air blows for more than 5 seconds, replace the
mixture control valve.
