Changing Fluid

1. Place a suitable pan under transaxle, then remove transaxle oil pan drain plug.
2. Remove engine undercovers, then oil pan and protector cover from transaxle.
3. Check control valve oil filter for any damage or possible clogging, clean or replace as necessary.
4. Install a new oil pan gasket, then torque oil pan retaining bolts to 6 ft. lbs.
5. Install drain plug, then torque plug to 33 ft. lbs.
6. Install engine undercovers, then fill transaxle with Dexron II automatic transmission fluid through dipstick tube to manufactures specifications.
