Air Injection Control Valve: Testing and Inspection
Inspection and Replacement 1.
Engine is at normal operating condition, and kept idling.
2.
Check that the secondary air is diverted from the silencer.
3.
Stop the engine.
4.
Disconnect air hose at check valve and plug the check valve.
5.
Start the engine and run idle, observe direction of air for the first few seconds. If any problem is found, replace the AMV.
