The O2 sensor must be replaced after 90,000 miles of vehicle operation. The oxygen sensor indicator light will turn on at this time to remind the operator to replace the sensor.

After replacing the sensor, the indicator light must be reset to remind the operator to replace it again after another 90,000 miles.

Maintenance Reminder Light Reset Location:





1. Remove masking tape from hole B in back of console.
2. Remove the screw from hole A and install it in hole B.
3. Apply new masking tape to hole B.

NOTE: This description assumes that the sensor is being replaced for the first time (at 90,000 miles). For subsequent replacement at every 90,000 miles, the holes will be reversed in the above description.
