Ignition System: Description and Operation
This is an electronically controlled ignition system. The ignition timing is controlled by the engine control module according to the engine operating conditions.
For determination of ignition timing, the signals from sensors (engine coolant temperature sensor, mass air flow sensor, WOT switch, CKP sensor and vehicle speed sensor) are used. The signal from the engine control module is transmitted to the ignitor, and the signal controls the ignition timing.
