Front Brake Rotor
1. Raise and support vehicle so that front wheels rotate freely, then remove front wheels.2. Remove brake pads as outlined under Brake Pad Service, then remove the caliper and caliper frame assembly as a unit. Use care not to damage the flexible brake hose. Do not allow caliper to hang from hose.
3. Remove hub dust cap.
4. Remove cotter pin, castle nut and washer.
5. Remove outer bearing and rotor from spindle.
6. Pry inner seal from spindle and discard.
7. Remove inner bearing.
8. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Thoroughly clean all parts in solvent. Dry with compressed air. Do not allow bearing to spin.
b. Apply high temperature front bearing grease to inner/outer bearings.
c. Install new inner bearing grease seal.
d. Tighten to specifications.
