SERVICE INFORMATION

The lubrication specifications contained in Section 713 - Manual Transmission of the following Workshop Manual, have been revised.

The recommended Synchro-Mesh Lubricating Fluid (SLF) and 5% friction Modifier have been discontinued and replaced with a new fluid called SLF (With Friction Modifier) which is a combination of the two. During transmission servicing, this new fluid eliminates the need of having to add 5% Friction Modifier to the SLF when changing the SLF.
