Transmission Shift Lever Replacement

Shift Lever And Boot:




Remove or Disconnect
1. Ten screws securing shift tower boot to the floor panel and insulator.
2. Shift lever from the transmission shift housing lever.
- Do not disassemble the transmission shift housing. Internal parts for this shift housing are not available. Opening the shift housing voids the warranty.

Install or Connect
1. Shift lever to the transmission shift tower lever.
2. Ten screws securing shift tower boot to the floor panel and insulator.

Tighten
- Screws to 2 N-m (18 lb-in.).
