Front Housing Disassembly

Tools Required:
J 23907 Slide Hammer with Pilot Bearing Puller
J 36511 Oil Plug Hex Bit (17 mm)
J 36800 Shift Rail Bushing Remover

NOTE: Do not remove the vent from the front housing. If the vent is damaged, the front housing must be replaced.

Disassemble
1. Input shaft bearing from the front housing.
2. Shift rail front housing bushing using J 36800 and J 23907

3. Oil fill plug using J 38511
4. Gasket material from the housing.
