Ignition Timing: Adjustments
1.
To adjust
ignition timing, loosen the
distributor mounting bolts, and turn the distributor ignition (DI) housing counterclockwise to advance the timing, or clockwise to retard the timing.
2.
Tighten the adjusting bolts, and recheck the timing.
3.
Disconnect the special tool from the service check connector.
