Installation

1. Install the engine into the vehicle.





2. Install the left side engine mount through-bolts.





3. Install the right side engine mount through-bolts.
4. Disconnect the engine lifting device.
5. Connect the fuel pipes.





6. Connect the throttle linkage and cruise control cable (if equipped).





7. Connect the vacuum hoses.
8. Connect the wiring harness to the engine.
9. Connect the heater hose to the intake manifold.
10. Connect the power steering lines to the power steering pump.
11. Install the radiator.
12. Install the air conditioning compressor.
13. Raise the vehicle.
14. Install the transmission. Refer to Transmission and Drivetrain.
15. Connect the ground strap to the engine block.
16. Install the transmission inspection cover.
17. Connect the braces to the engine and the transmission.
18. The exhaust pipe to the exhaust manifold.





19. Install the oxygen sensor. Refer to Powertrain Management.
20. Lower the vehicle.
21. Install the negative battery cable.
