Cruise Control Module: Service and Repair




Remove or Disconnect
1. Battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notes.
2. Cruise control cable. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement.
3. Instrument panel wiring harness from the cruise control module.
4. Cruise control module retaining screws from the cowl panel.
5. Cruise control module from the vehicle.




Install or Connect
1. Cruise control module to the vehicle.
2. Cruise control module retaining screws to the cowl panel.

Tighten
- Cruise control module retaining screws to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).

3. Instrument panel wiring harness to the cruise control module.
4. Cruise control cable. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Replacement.
5. Battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notes.
6. Check system operation.
