Manual Transmission/Transaxle

The New Venture Gear 1500 transmission is a 5-speed unit that is synchronized in all gears. The transmission has a two-piece aluminum housing which consists of the following components:
- The front output shaft
- The rear output shaft
- The mainshaft gears
- The countershaft
- The reverse idler gear
- The shift forks
- The shift shaft components

The NV 1500 transmission is used in trucks with the 2.2L engine.
