Removal Procedure
1.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2.
Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling the Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
3.
Remove the engine cover.
4.
Remove the common chamber assembly. Refer to Common Chamber in Engine Mechanical.
5.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the
knock sensor.
6.
Unscrew the
knock sensor from the engine block.
