Heater Core Case: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the heater case heat shield retaining bolts.




2. Remove the heater case heat shield.
3. Remove the heater case retaining bolts.
4. Remove the heater case from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the heater case to the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Note in Service Precautions.




2. Install the heater case retaining bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

3. Install the heater case heat shield.
4. Install the heater case heat shield retaining bolts.
