Data Link Communications Circuit Description

Connecting the scan tool to the data link connector (DLC) allows the scan tool to communicate with the following control modules:
- The powertrain control module
- The vehicle control module
- The inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module
- The transfer case shift control module
- The electronic brake control module
- The Body control module
- The instrument cluster

Monitor system operations for diagnostic purposes by connecting the scan tool to the DLC.
