Extension Housing: Service and Repair
Rear Extension Oil Seal Removal Procedure 1.
Raise the vehicle.
2.
Remove the propeller shaft.
3.
Remove the rear extension oil seal.
Installation Procedure ^
Required Tools -
J 21426 Rear Extension Seal Installer
1.
Install the new seal using J 21426.
2.
Install the propeller shaft.
3.
Lower the vehicle.
4.
Check the transmission fluid level. Use Dexron(R) III Automatic Transmission Fluid.
