SERVICE INFORMATION

The Safety Crash Cage Bracket used on the 2000 Rodeo and Amigo Will NOT ALLOW the installation of 1999 Running Boards. There are newly designed Running Boards for Model Year 2000 Rodeo.





On 2000 Rodeo (UE) and Amigo (UA), on the forward part of the frame rail by the "A" Pillar, there is a new bracket called the Safety Crash Cage Bracket (Refer to the image below). This bracket was added to deflect the tire and wheel assembly during a front-end collision and should never be modified or removed from the vehicle.
