CALIBRATION UPDATES FOR 2002 TROOPER (UX) AND AXIOM (UP)

SERVICE INFORMATION

Important:
The following calibrations are not interchangeable. Calibrations for the 2002.7 Axiom are due to a new Fuel Pump and Sender, new Coolant Temperature criteria and changes in the MAP and VSS rationality.

Both the Trooper (UX) and Axiom (UP) have running calibration changes for model year 2002. For the Trooper (UX), On Board Refueling Vapor Recovery (ORVR) was adopted as a running change. This emission enhancement requires a calibration change. For Axiom the new 2002 calibration changes are listed. Use the following Calibration charts to help identify the correct calibration application.

Note:
All ORVR Evaporative Systems can be identified by looking for the "7TQ" option code on the Service Parts Identification Plate located on the cowl under the hood (Figure 1)
